Replacement Steel Windows
Steel windows were often fitted into period buildings and their slim lines are an important design feature. Many old steel windows have corrosion as they were manufactured before galvanising and powder coating techniques were available. Using replacement steel windows will preserve the elegant sight lines and durability of the original frames.
Replacement steel window frames are hot dipped galvanised and have a powder coated paint finish which results in a low maintenance, high quality frame. Original glass can be preserved if required. For example, leaded lights can be removed and fitted into new frames of similar design to the original. Steel windows can be double-glazed if required and comply to modern building regulations.
