First Presbyterian Church, Magherafelt 2013
This involved the restoration of the decorative windows in the church followed by bespoke secondary protective glazing. The work was detailed and intricate as the windows were narrow and the protective glazing had to be fitted neatly to old stonework.
Our full perimeter ventilated frame system using toughened glass is lightweight and totally non-ferrous. This protective glazing system is sympathetic to old stonework as no mastics or silicones are used and allows for removal and re-fitting during repairs and maintenance of either the windows or damaged stonework.
Glassmarque Design's skilled craftsmen both restored the glass and fitted the protective glazing system to transform the windows to their current beauty.
